SURE is a native iOS & Android app that contains the SURE (Substance Use Recovery Evaluator) and SUSS (Substance Use Sleep Scale) measures, which allow those who are using substances and alcohol to track their recovery and monitor progress across key areas of wellbeing and quality of life.
The app now empowers patients to control their own recovery path, as they can fill in the measures whenever they wish, and see progress on a graph.
The app also features a shared artwork gallery, showcasing artwork from service users, a diary feature, a downloadable book about the lives of heroin users, and life-saving information and advice about Naloxone, a drug which can be used to reverse the effects of opioid overdose.
We created a simple web application which helps clinicians treating patients of dementia to determine the combined anticholinergic burden (ACB) of a patient’s prescribed medication.
The app provides a simple scoring system to help clinicians determine whether or not the anticholinergic score of a specific combination of medications is too high. The score could then be used to review a patient’s existing prescription with the aim of reducing the negative effects of anticholinergic properties on their health, and shared with the patient’s GP.
