Kumar has a strong background in healthcare, having worked within a number of mental health charities, and helping to set up SH:24, an online sexual health service where he is a non-executive director. Kumar is also the Chair of Trustees of Age Exchange, a small charity committed to improving health and wellbeing among older people.
Kumar loves to spend his weekends cooking delicious South Indian food - and often treats the team to spicy Kiribath breakfasts!

At home, his kids and puppy keep him busy and when he can, Janak tries to play some tennis in an attempt to keep (vaguely) fit!

Outside work Joanna is kept busy with her own team - 3 little boys and puppy Maggie who all enjoy exploring in the woods, playing in the park and making regular trips to the beaches on the Isle of Wight.

Her doctoral research was on the theme of mental health and online social networks. She is a member of the HIMSS UK Advisory Board, Leeds City Region Digital Board, and a trustee for Solace, a refugee and asylum seeker charity.
Victoria is responsible for helping Mindwave keep at the forefront of innovation; she leads on PR and marketing along with developing the business and collaborating with partners.
She is co-author of Teen Mental Health in an Online World and you can find her “Pets as Therapy” dog on Instagram @bibithepatdog. She is a regular runner and currently training for the 2020 London marathon.

Roshan graduated from University of LJMU with a degree in Graphic Design & Illustration in 2017. Roshan gained experience on working in many digital platforms within the design industry from UX & UI and CRM design, to eLearning.
As a Junior UX / UI designer, Roshan is responsible for supporting the team with designs for online and offline projects, conducting workshops and assisting the team with research or any help that may be required. Roshan brings a hands-on, fresh approach to each project and is currently involved in extensive UX research for our PHR projects.
After work hours, you can find Roshan dancing at gigs, playing badminton or having a pint at the local pub with his friends watching Liverpool dominate the league.

Sarah joined the team back in 2016 as a UX and UI designer and has since worked her way up to lead the team.
Sarah’s work as a UX and UI designer has always tended to focus heavily on health and not-for-profit projects, which is what led her to her join the Mindwave team. Her primary goal is to create products and services that benefit, empower and enable users - and as such, she champions research and discovery as a key phase of any design process.
Sarah is experienced across the entire project life-cycle, from engaging with users and refining requirements, through to the final polishing of the interface.
After hours, Sarah loves growing vegetables in her garden, and illustrating animal-inspired prints. The occasional Netflix-binge marathon also doesn't go amiss...!

Anouk has a proven track record of delivering effective global campaigns whilst working at international agencies and in-house design departments. She has helped drive businesses in their creative direction and has worked with diverse clients from the Los Angeles County Museum of Art to Fortune 500 companies. Anouk specialises in branding and has a passion for understanding the DNA of a brand and seeing it through across all touch-points, emphasising the integrated user experience.
At Mindwave, Anouk is leading the day-to-day design work to ensure brand and pixel perfection for all of our clients.
Anouk loves fashion & artisan crafts, and does a fine art painting class on Sunday. She is currently working part-time on her Technology focussed MBA and is passionate about climate issues and corporate sustainability. On Saturday mornings, you may find her with her black lab at the local farmer’s market in Primrose Hill, or out for a long walk on the Heath.

Ilsa joins Mindwave at the front end of product development as a research strategist to inform design concept, interface and functionality through a human centred approach. Her advanced specialist knowledge of innovation and iterative processes results in culturally relevant, desirable and economically viable solutions that leave lasting impact.
Away from the desk, Ilsa continues to tinker with physical product invention and holds patents in the US and UK. She is also a percussionist in a global samba reggae band and loves to travel. You may even have seen her on the telly!
Shantel Kadir

Shantel graduated in Birmingham with a Bachelor's degree in Media and Communication.
She then moved to London and went on to gather over 6 years of experience in market research mainly for the public sector, whilst also freelancing as a graphic designer.
Passionate about design as much as she is about making a positive contribution to society; this role was made for her! As the UX/UI designer at Mindwave Shantel utilises her wide skill set and knowledge from planning and conducting user research, creating wireframes, prototypes and UI, to conducting usability testing.
Outside of work Shantel run’s an inclusive party in East London called ‘Vibrate’. You can usually spot her cycling to work with either purple, blue or pink hair (it changes every month).

Dilipan has 11 years of experience in Digital Marketing and 6+ years in Google Analytics and other predictive analytics for his clients. He worked with major clients like Comodo Cybersecurity and SSL CA provider Chennai, India.
In Mindwave, he joined as a Senior Data Analyst to take care of the Analytics, GTM and Data Studio for their clients. He also plays a vital role in the Digital Marketing area for their clients and in-house website.

Rajesh Kannan started his career as QA Engineer with CTS in 2016 and has an overall experience of 4 years’ in manual and automation testing. He is well versed with software testing lifecycle, waterfall and agile methodologies and also has a strong knowledge in Insurance Domain. Rajesh is passionate about finding bugs in software and transforming manual testing activities into automation.
Rajesh loves spending his free time learning new things and with his friends. He also loves reading fantasy novels and watching the web series. In recent times, he has started banana cultivation in his hometown.
Katy Edwards
Chief Operating Officer
Following 13 years in recruitment, Katy has been working with healthcare organisations since 2015 in a number of different roles.
These roles proved that good organisational skills add value to any organisation, and enabled her to pick up new skills and projects quickly and adapt to new environments.
Katy initially joined Mindwave in a freelance capacity to help deliver Healthlocker - our first personal health record, but quickly became our resident PHR expert and joined as a permanent member of the team in 2017. She is now responsible for managing our Personal Health Records programme across a number of NHS trusts around the UK.
Outside work, Katy goes by the name Tawny Owl, running a Brownie pack in West London and chairing a committee who run a small centre for use by Brownies and Guides. She also enjoys all kinds of arts & crafts.
Elle Long
Apps and Services Product Manager
After studying French, Spanish & Mandarin at Newcastle University, Elle worked for 8 years in Account Management and Project Management roles.
Her experience spans travel, events and charity sectors, for companies such as Airbnb and The Children’s Society. Elle is a certified Agile Scrum Master, and is passionate about User Centred Design.
At Mindwave, Elle manages a variety of projects covering websites, mobile applications, and emerging technologies such as VR. Elle works closely with the developers and designers to translate user needs into tangible features for development, whilst managing relationships with clients.
Outside of work, Elle is either planning her next overseas adventure, learning a new language, or trying out a new recipe.
Aishwaryaa Ravi
General Manager
Completing her MBA in 2013 with specialisms in HR and Marketing, Aishwaryaa has 5+ years experience in management across various sectors.
Her role at Mindwave involves liaising between the developers and the rest of the team to ensure that the projects are completed and delivered on time.
She best describes herself as sincere, friendly, curious and ambitious, and loves her best buddy, Jamie, a German shepherd who was rescued from a breeder. Aishwaryaa keeps herself occupied in her free time by volunteering at orphanages, old age homes and animal welfare organisations.
Iulia Pirv
Project Support
With an honours degree in Business and Law, Iulia is now studying for her Masters in International Project Management.
In addition to her degree, she also brings a strong background spanning 6 years in business and utilises these skills to support the team on a wide range of projects.
At Mindwave, Iulia is responsible for providing research, reports and documentation to support the projects. She works mainly with the project managers, organising events and liaising with the company’s stakeholders.
Hailing from the beautiful mountain regions of Transylvania, Iulia has a thirst for adventure and likes to travel and experience different cultures, meet new people and most of all try new food!
Andrew Morrison
Project Manager
Andrew has worked in healthcare for 5 years, primarily in research roles in the areas of Radiotherapy and Cardiology in a variety of Hospital and University settings.
With a Masters in Healthcare Policy and Management from the University of Birmingham and a Bachelors in Pharmacology from the University of Liverpool, Andrew is well equipped for understanding and working closely with NHS and other healthcare organisations.
Andrew is one of our Project Managers based in the Liverpool office where he will be managing Public Health Records projects in the North and Midlands. Through working closely with the design Team in Liverpool and coordinating the developers, Andrew will be ensuring that the requirements of the NHS partners are met within tight frames and ensuring our platforms are of the highest quality.
In his spare time, Andrew is passionate about music. In recent years Andrew has run an independent record label and has had his own music released internationally by labels in LA, London and Berlin. His music has been used in adverts by the likes of Adidas, Tommy Hilfiger and Off White.
Dr Julio Amaral
Personal Health Records (PHR) Researcher
Julio has worked as a Doctor in the field of Psychiatry since 2016. He is currently studying strategies for self-evaluation of health risks for a PhD at King's College London.
At Mindwave, he researches the benefits and adherence strategies of personal health records (PHR), supporting the development of self-management health tools.
Julio also works with scientific illustration, he has a degree in Art History and worked for +10 years with web design and the development of interactive interfaces.
In his free time, Julio plays the bass guitar and trains as a member of the Vegan Runners.
Vishnupriya Karunanithi
Project support
Vishnupriya has over two years of experience in recruitment and training across various sectors. As a Project Support, she has been coordinating between developers and testing team to manage the resource timeline and workload.
She is a core body member of Kingmaker Employment Services Welfare Organisation as well as an active volunteer of Direction for Volunteer & People Welfare Organisation.
She is passionate about volunteering, classical dance, craftwork and painting. She would like to spend her free time with her family and friends.
Rekha Manivannan

Rekha has completed her Master degree in Mass Communication and Journalism in Pondicherry University. She started her career in digital marketer and worked with renowned companies for 3+ years in Chennai.
At Mindwave, she has joined as project support and managing PHR projects. She will coordinate with project leads, design team, dev team to ensure that the projects are completed and delivered on time.

Coming from a background in Robotics and Machine Learning, Mirantha is currently reading for his PhD in Computer Science at the University of Manchester.
At Mindwave, he contributes to building the AI strategy and exploring future opportunities of expansion relating to AI and machine learning applications in healthcare.

Project Manager
After graduating from Bharathiar University, Chithra started her career as a Business Analyst and advanced to Associate Project Manager position before joining Mindwave. She has extensive experience in Project Management.
In Mindwave, she works as a Project Manager where she manages client communication, project sprints, team management & ensures each sprint is completed successfully.
Aside from work, she is an avid traveller, loves to travel and explore different places, distinct cultures and try out new cuisines.

Before joining Mindwave, Yasmin has over a year of experience as a Junior Executive in SPI Global Technologies and a year of experience as a Project Management in Lumina Datamatics.
In Mindwave, she has joined as a Technical project support. Her major role is to manage the deployment team with tasks, timelines and resourcing. She will also coordinate between developers, deployment team and testing team.

Dhivya started her career after overall 3 years of experience being a Project Manager in her previous company.
In Mindwave, she has joined as Project support.
